Geez…it’s hard to believe it’s been over four years since I’ve released anything.

I don’t make it a secret that I’m a very big admirer of A.G. Cook and the whole PC Music crew. I still remember the first time I heard “Beautiful” on SoundCloud in 2014. It left me floored with its incredible musicality and simple yet extremely effective production. I can’t overstate how literally nothing else sounded like it back then. Now it’s impossible to escape Hyperpop’s influence on all genres of music.

“Silver” struck a chord in my heart in a very similar way to “Beautiful”. The fact that it was named after the artist himself makes me feel that A.G. was reaching for something very personal (Silver AKA the element Ag…A.G. Cook…crazy)! I relate a lot to the "boy".

Working on this project opened my eyes to an entirely different way of writing songs. I No longer felt paralyzed from having to write a “drop”. I discovered a whole new way of expressing myself without a loud riff or a floor-shattering bass drop. It's a freedom and excitement that I haven’t felt since I first started writing music nearly 15 years ago.

I want to give a special shout-out to my wife Gaby who designed the beautiful cover. Also to my good friend Lukas (Skeets) for mixing and mastering this total mess of a project. Over these past few years, both of them believed in me when I couldn’t. It’s their encouragement that brings us here today.

Ngl the other 3 tracks, imo of course, are trash. Track 1 is an absolute banger and I don't know how I missed it for so many years, really reminds me of his days with the Tano*C Crew. Need more Joshka!! zotheculs
